One of the latest designer flooring products, woven vinyl is a new take on vinyl flooring as it is soft underfoot like carpet whilst being hard wearing and durable yet easy to clean. Its waterproof property makes it suitable for use in bathrooms and kitchens or indeed anywhere around the house, and is perfect for people who need a low dust environment. It is also great for commercial locations where a softer feel with better acoustics is required with a designer look that can easily be bespoken to any taste
Vinyl flooring is available in a wide range of colours and finishes from wood and stone effect to the traditional marble and chipped effect. Standard vinyls are suitable for nearly all locations that require a decorative hard wearing surface and as they are fully welded minor spills are no problem. However, if the area is subject to excessive water or grease then a safety vinyl will need to be specified (see below). Vinyl is extremely hard wearing and is available with a pre-polished surface to reduce maintenance. We offer all grades of vinyl are, often with lifetime guarantees.
Safety flooring provides a highly durable, slip resistant surface, which can incorporate a surface micro texture to provide grip. The new generation of safety floorings use either micro textures or a pure vinyl wear layer impregnated with quartz crystals for ease of cleaning and improved long term appearance.
Various slip resistant finishes are available, from light grip for domestic kitchens and bathrooms to heavy industrial safety flooring.
All wet room vinyls incorporate raised bobbles to provide good grip for wet bare feet. These products are suitable for both domestic and commercial use and provide a practical and economical alternative to ceramic tiles.
To provide the most effective seal against water, all our wet room installations include a finish turned up the walls with capping strip.
Traditional carpets still provide one of the most durable floor coverings and of course excellent thermal and acoustic properties. We can supply carpet for every requirement, from heavy contract fibre bonded to top-of-the range bespoke Wilton and Axminster carpets.
